BRIEF
While at Cath Kidston we collaborated with Disney to create a unique collection merging Snow White with Cath Kidston's classic prints. The collaboration required working closely with buyers to develop a range of distinctive products, differentiating it from other Disney collections. The collection aimed to feature the apple as a central element and incorporated glitter to enhance its playfulness.
ACTION
As the lead designer for Accessories, I collaborated closely with buyers to create a captivating range of products. Working alongside product designers, we incorporated the apple motif throughout the collection. I designed the apple bag and purse, utilizing the apple leaf as a luggage tag, while adding sparkle with glitter accents. Additionally, I designed a boyswear repeat print featuring the seven dwarfs.
OUTCOME
The collection achieved its goal of offering unique and exciting products that stood out among other Disney collaborations. The apple bag and purse, gained attention and praise for their innovative design. The addition of glitter added a playful touch, making the collection even more appealing to customers. The repeat print featuring the seven dwarfs in the boyswear range further enhanced the collection's appeal.
